Display Kiosk

After a rough night of brainstorming the initial idea that appealed to me was the quality of our sustenance. To elaborate, our levels of hygiene, for example, require a large amount of products: from shampoo and soap, to hair products for some, and this is what is the baseline sustenance standard for western society if not most of the modern world. However comparing this quality of living to perhaps 200 years ago, would be completely different. Yet in this time an individual may still say that their routine of hygiene is sufficient for self sustenance, even someone 400 years ago, or a thousand. The idea is that with technology and advancements in research, our quality of sustenance increases. This was the baseline for the concept

At this point in time I don't have a strong architectural concept, but have an idea of what I want to display - machinery and hand made crafts and tools before the rise of the industrial era. I wanted to promote and show the work required before electricity and machine to maintain ourselves, because I feel an interesting thing to look at as well was the increasing distance of the amount of work we put in to maintain ourselves and our self-sustenance. E.G. a washing machine now will go at the push of a button, but before the industrial era, Victorian-style machinery would require one to individually press the cloth between rollers or hand wash each garment.
